A challenge in load securing is that when lashing is applied, the cross straps remain in their intended place throughout the transport journey. Our Edge Protectors even solves two problems at once. The horizontal straps are fixed in height and cannot slip and the edges of the goods are protected from damage. Together with our other White Lash components (webbing as sacking, strap buckles and reel tensioners) this edge protection angle unfolds its full potential. Our [R] edge protection "Mushroom" combines several functions in one product. On the one hand, it protects the edges of the goods from transport damage, e.g. through the straps of a lashing. On the other hand, the special mushroom-shaped cutouts (mushroom) offer an innovative hold-up function. For this purpose, the transverse belt of a lashing is guided through the millings and thus fixed in height. Due to the open design on the side, this can also be done after the edge protection has been attached.
What is the benefit of it? If the restraint system is relieved during transport, the crossbands remain fixed in height and cannot slide down.
