Four strong partners met in Aub on May 19, 2022. District Administrator Thomas Eberth (District of W\u00fcrzburg), Rico Neubert (Head of Staff Department, District Office of W\u00fcrzburg) and Mayor Roman Menth (City of Aub) gained a personal impression of the Lower Franconian load securing manufacturer’s commitment to sustainability during an on-site visit to Rothschenk. <\/p>\n\n

As a participant in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact, Rothschenk’s aim is to establish environmental protection measures as a leader in the load securing industry. Measures such as EMAS, EMASplus and EcoVadis certification are an expression of this corporate philosophy. <\/p>\n\n

The district administrator became aware of Rothschenk due to the extraordinary commitment of the medium-sized manufacturer. Topics such as SMEs, sustainability, new products and the Aub location were discussed directly in the production halls for the lashing restraint systems. <\/p>\n\n

Production tour<\/h2>\n\n

During a brief company presentation, the various fields of activity and measures that make Rothschenk a pioneer in environmental protection in the region were outlined. For example, Rothschenk is a founding member of the DIHK’s Climate Protection Business Network and a participant in the regional initiative Kooperative Kunststoffkreisl\u00e4ufe Mainfranken of the Institute for Applied Logistics (IAL, FHWS W\u00fcrzburg) and Region Mainfranken GmbH. <\/p>\n\n

As a special highlight, District Administrator Thomas Eberth, together with Mayor Roman Menth (City of Aub), presented the certificate for participation in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact. J\u00fcrgen Schulte-Wieking (shareholder of G&H GmbH Rothschenk) and Johanna Ott (Sustainability and Quality Officer and Project Manager for Integrated Management) were delighted to receive this award. <\/p>\n\n

A short tour of the production halls for lashing systems and production for dunnage bag rounded off the information part of the evening. A relaxed brunch brought the evening to a slow close with topics such as the new Rothschenks logistics center and the importance of the company as an employer in the region. <\/p>\n\n

We would like to thank the District Administrator Thomas Eberth, Mr. Neubert and our Mayor Roman Menth for their interest. One reason for a return visit will probably be the inauguration of the completed logistics center. <\/p>\n\n
