The slogan of the Würzburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce is “Connecting people and business in Mainfranken”. So it is only logical to outsource meetings to the companies and thus take the pulse of the industry directly. What moves the entrepreneurs? What are their concerns? But also the question: Where is the potential? What trends are currently developing?

This feedback nourishes both the economy and the IHK Würzburg. And what is nourished can grow.

As host, Rothschenk was able to open the doors to this year’s IHK Autumn Meeting of the Energy and Environment Committee and welcome representatives from both industry and the IHK.

The agenda included topics such as:

• The IHK’s path to EMAS certification incl. workshop
• Current developments from Berlin and Brussels
• Discussion round on the water cent

The event in the new Rothschenk conference rooms was rounded off with a look behind the scenes of Rothschenk production and logistics. The attendees were impressed by the transformation of the company over the last few years.

A new corporate culture has been implemented that transfers more responsibility to the employees. A concept with a future, as many participants acknowledged.

In general, staying on the move is what drives the specialist committee, not least the economy and therefore also Rothschenk’s core message. We are delighted to be a part of this and to help shape the future.
