Rothschenk's anti-slip solutions:

Anti-slip mats and papers for optimum load securing

Whenever on a transport the load slips, it is the result of simple physical principles. Our anti-slip products effectively counteract this principle with anti-slip, quality-tested materials by simply increasing the coefficient of friction. This often makes it possible to significantly reduce the amount of lashing equipment used. The anti-slip mat is recommended as a cost-effective aid for securing loads in containers and truck shipments. Through the The friction coefficient between the load and the pallet or container floor is significantly increased by the bonded rubber granulate.

The anti-slip paper/cardboard, on the other hand, is a special kraft paper with a friction-enhancing coating. For example, it serves as a layer between the pallet and the goods or layers of goods and prevents the load unit from sliding. The anti-slip paper serves as an intermediate layer between layers of cargo and is fully recyclable. Both variants meet the strict requirements of VDI guideline 2700ff and are available in various thicknesses and adaptations to meet the specific needs of users.

Rothschenk’s anti-slip products, consisting of anti-slip mats and papers, offer an effective solution for load securing by significantly increasing the friction coefficient. These products are particularly useful in container and truck shipping, where they minimize load slippage and thus increase safety. The anti-slip mats, made of PU-bonded rubber granules, are robust and weather-resistant, ideal for outdoor use.

Are the anti-slip products bound to specific load types/environments?

No, anti-slip mats and papers are versatile and can be used for a wide range of load types. They are suitable for heavy objects such as machines and vehicles as well as for sensitive goods such as electronics or glass.

Anti-slip mats and anti-slip papers each offer specific advantages, but can be used differently in terms of weather resistance. Anti-slip mats are usually made from materials such as PU-bonded rubber granules, which are robust and weather-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor use. They can withstand moisture and temperature fluctuations, making them ideal for use in open or humid environments.

In contrast, anti-slip papers are made from a coated paper material and are not suitable for use in extreme weather conditions or in damp environments. They are mainly designed for indoor use, where they are used as intermediate layers to prevent goods from slipping on pallets. However, these papers are environmentally friendly and fully recyclable, but do not offer the same high resistance to moisture as the mats

The advantages of anti-slip products at a glance
  • Anti-slip mat:
Anti-slip mats from Rothschenk effectively serve to increase the friction coefficient and thus meet the strict requirements of VDI guideline 2700ff. By using these mats, it is often possible to reduce the number of securing devices required, which reduces costs and effort. Their robustness also makes them ideal for use in different weather conditions, making them versatile for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Anti-slip paper:
Rothschenk’s anti-slip paper also increases the coefficient of friction between the load and the loading surface and is particularly slip-resistant thanks to its coated surface. It is ideal as an intermediate layer in pallet packaging to ensure the stability of the load. The material is also environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable, making it an excellent choice for sustainability-conscious companies.
What is the load limit of anti-slip mats?

According to VDI guideline 2700ff, sheet 3.2, sheets 9 and 15, the maximum load of anti-slip mats should be selected so that 30% deformation of the material thickness is not exceeded.
