Pool owners know the problem: after winter storage, the pool is dirty in spring, the tarpaulin has sunk in and can only be pulled out of the pool with great effort. In addition, frost can cause expensive damage to the structure, add-on parts or the foil. In addition, ice pressure pads must be installed to dissipate the snow and ice loads in winter.
The CoverMio pool cushion is simply inflated in the fall, placed on the pool and covered with a tarpaulin.
In contrast to other manufacturers who combine several small pads, this solution does not create any “water pockets”, i.e. depressions between the individual pads. The tarpaulin is evenly stretched and acts like a roof, allowing environmental influences to simply drain away.
In winter, most customers dismantle their filter system to protect it from frost. To do this, simply drain the water to just below the inlet (usually approx. 50-60 cm below the edge of the pool) and fill the pool cushion completely with air. Then cover the pool and the pool cushion with your pool cover. This creates a “dome” over the edge of the pool, allowing rain or snow to flow off to the side.
