You're not taking any risks with us - we have been awarded the Gold Medal on the EcoVadis sustainability rating platform. For you as a purchaser, this means that we demand and promote the implementation of high environmental and social standards both within the company and along the supply chain.

G&H GmbH Rothschenk was founded in 1996 and to this day we have a production and administration site in Aub. We currently employ around 100 people. From the very beginning, we have attached great importance to being a socially responsible and fair employer. The following examples illustrate what we mean by this:

Energy and resource efficiency
We record our energy and resource consumption and emissions as part of the EMAS environmental management system. These key figures form the basis for defining measures and targets. One positive effect of this is the constant questioning and optimization of our production processes.
We also have an extensive range of reusable products and systems and show our customers environmentally friendly alternatives.
An important step is researching and testing bio-based raw materials for our dunnage bags. We work closely with our suppliers and external partners in the field of research and development.
However, did you know that our PP and LDPE dunnage bags are 100% recyclable, unlike dunnage bags made of kraft paper? This is because the latter contain plastic inside (inliner, coating), which means that the materials have to be separated at great expense for recycling. However, our dunnage bags can be disposed of in their entirety via the Yellow Bag and recycled as a raw material for high-quality products.

Society and social affairs
In addition to sustainable supply chain management, we are also committed to social justice both globally and locally.
We have been working with Mainfränkische Werkstätten GmbH since 2008. In this way, we promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market. Because our BIG valves are assembled by the people who work there.
Once a year, we also open our doors to our children and grandchildren as part of the Door Opener Day of the “Sendung mit der Maus” program. We playfully explain the basic principles of load securing and offer a variety of stations on the topics of the environment, sustainability and quality.
We are particularly proud of the social business [B] Energy, which develops mobile biogas technology based on our dunnage bags. We have been supporting the inventor and founder Katrin Pütz since 2011. The innovative system offers people in Africa, Asia and Latin America access to clean cooking energy and income opportunities. Because with every biogas plant installed and every biogas rucksack produced, we make an active contribution to improving living conditions and protecting the climate. Sustainability affects us all. As a medium-sized company, we see it as our duty, together with our business partners, to act ecologically and motivate others to do the same.
On the one hand, it is important to design processes in such a way that energy and material resources are optimally utilized in production. Secondly, our end product should offer customers the opportunity to use it several times or to return the components to the resource cycle.
Social and ecological activities are at the heart of our marketing strategy.
As an entrepreneur, I look for opportunities. As a human being, I bear responsibility. Sustainable development of people and nature combines both and corresponds to my deepest convictions.
Fewer and fewer people are getting involved in clubs and associations, which is important for local social cohesion. As a member of SV Gelchsheim, I am proud that my employer supports us financially. This enables us to promote sport among our young people.
I am a passionate cyclist. With the high-quality bike, which I can lease at favorable conditions through the company, I like to get to work every morning and do something for myself and the environment.

Wherever possible, we use environmentally friendly materials that are either recyclable or biodegradable. We largely avoid the use of harmful chemicals and substances that could pollute the environment.
As a sustainable manufacturer, we focus on energy-efficient production processes. We optimize our production facilities in order to minimize energy consumption and maximize the use of renewable energies. This also reduces our ecological footprint and contributes to reducing climate change.
Another aspect is resource-saving production. Here, too, we optimize production processes to minimize the consumption of raw materials. They recycle and reuse materials wherever possible to reduce waste.

Special focus: We offer our customers environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions. We advise our customers on the selection of products that meet the requirements of load securing and are also environmentally friendly. We also provide training and information to inform customers about the benefits and correct use of sustainable load securing.
