Rothschenk dunnage bags or dunnage bags effectively protect your goods from transport damage on the way to their destination. dunnage bags of the Red Line series are used in existing dunnage gaps to create a form and force fit between the goods and the container wall. They are filled using compressed air, either with a stationary connection or via a mobile battery-powered blower. Thanks to the built-in SMART valve, our Red Line dunnage bags can be subsequently deflated and the dunnage bag corrected in the dunnage gap. The valve is positioned in the rebate edge towards the corner and is therefore freely accessible to the user when the container door is open. The standard sizes of Red Line dunnage bags are sufficient for most applications. These can be used for gaps of up to approx. 500 mm.
For larger gaps, we recommend our Red Line 3D dunnage bags, which are ideal for gaps of up to approx. 800 mm due to their design. You can find more information on dunnage bags in our blog series 20 and 21.
Please note: In future, we will be dispensing with the dust cap on our Smart valves. This will allow us to reduce the amount of plastic in the interests of the environment and simplify the application for the customer. Please understand that during the transitional period, we can supply both dunnage bags with and without a cap.
